Carini is a private assistant used only by its owner on the owner's own computer. It is not available to the public and has no other users.

What Carini accesses

When the owner signs in with Google, Carini may read the owner's Gmail messages, create drafts and send email the owner asks it to send, and create or edit events in the owner's Google Calendar. It uses this access only to carry out the owner's own requests.

Where data goes

Sign-in credentials are stored only on the owner's computer, readable only by the owner's account. Email and calendar content is not sold, shared, or used for advertising. To answer a spoken request, the relevant text may be processed by the AI service the assistant uses for speech and understanding (OpenAI), under that service's terms; it is not used to build profiles or shared with anyone else.

Google user data

Carini's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Removing access

The owner can revoke Carini's access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions, and delete the stored credentials from the computer.
